Is the Toki a genuine Suntory if it's made exclusively for the US market?

Its just a blend for the American market.

CUTTO CUTTO CUTTO CUTTO CUTTO CUTTO
they made it, so yeah, it's genuine.

I think it's ridiculously pretentious that people consider things to be "unauthentic" if they're not made in or for a certain place. Like how genuine champagne can only come from champagne, even though there's nothing stopping anyone from making a superior bubbly somewhere else. If it falls into the category of whatever food or drink it's supposed to be it's fucking "genuine". It may even be better than the traditional product, just eat/drink what you like and don't get caught up on the artificial attribute of "authenticity".

>Like how genuine champagne can only come from champagne
Champagne is sparkling wine from Champagne. So how can it come from other places?
>>8582130
Colloquially, champagne has come to mean sparkling wine. Similar to how Kleenex has come to mean tissue. Or how Jello has come to mean Gelatin.
Therefore it's stupid to legally restrict how the term can be used even though it's commonly used to refer to all sparkling wine. I'm surprised you're too stupid to understand that anon.

I like when western critics tell Japanese directors their movies aren't Japanese enough.

Never heard of this whiskey before this thread.
I now want to buy a bottle a a connoisseur of whiskey.
What should I expect?

Yeah, and?

It's like scotch. Made with malted grain and all the same processes in a region that's similar to Scotland's climate, which is why it's not that dark.

If you made a gelatin product that used the word Jello that would be illegal
This stuff is like $40 at costco. Worth it?
