I learned recently that fruitflies love rum
They love rum so much they'll swim in it till they die.

I left a bottle partially open after having a little too much to drink. Woke up to some black spots in my rum.
It tried to filter it out with some paper towel, but that only worked a little bit

I ended up getting too drunk on something else and just drank it, flies and all

one time i was drinking rum outside and fruit flies kept trying to get in it. in my drunken state i pitied them...i'd get them on the tip of my finger by dipping it in rum and letting them drink it.

Fruit flies also love 4loko. Found that out the hard way by drinking a bunch of them after a can had sat out overnight.
