I never got the whole "you need a strategy before you hit the buffet" thing. All the buffets around here are the same price as a Big Mac meal. So unless you're at a steak and lobster buffet at the Bellagio, what's the point? You're still gonna wind up overeating, and it's still gonna be just as unhealthy as if you'd gone to McD's, and you're still gonna feel bad afterwards. I don't see a reason to looking for best bang for your buck strategies. If you're gonna treat yourself to a pig out, just be a pig and eat whatever you want/looks good. There's no point in worrying about it.

Don't eat all day before. Don't drink very much when you are there. Crab legs are your best bet. Always go for proteins, fuck salad, fuck rice, fuck pasta. Get baked before you go.

I live in the south so buffets are everywhere and cheap. I don't go a lot but when I do, I'm not looking to do battle. I just get whatever I feel like eating and try not to overeat. It's not like if I don't eat the carbs, then I'm gonna somehow feel better about myself cuz I one upped the buffet at their own game. That kind of logic is for retards and Jews.

theirs buffets and then theirs "cheap food poisoning". decent buffets start from about $30 and go up to $65 for the bs ones. the best are around $40 - $50 usually. good ones usually specialise in a foreign cuisine (not chinese) or are headed by a good chef. usually the menu is available before you even go dining
