I got this carafe (pic) and use it for various fluids, juice, water, milk etc.
But I can´t seem to get it all cleaned up on the inside Tried dishwatersoap, vinegar, lime remover, all to no avail.
I cant get a brush inside, so I just shake it.
Advice me, please.

what about a bottle brush?
you can even get the ones used for toilets (just buy a new one, mind you)
Fill it with suds, cover the top with a large hand or plate/bowl of ≥ circumference, shake and rinse ad nauseum. Nuke it in the microwave to sterilize. Otherwise, place upside down in the dishwasher. Still less than ideal, buthey, a carafe is form over function.

Silly me. Of course one of those might do the trick. See if I can track one up.
Thanks.

Pour some salt in, some detergent, and just a little water so the salt doesn't dissolve fully. Shake it about and let the salt polish the dirt off.

Ice cubes and cleanser too.

I got one that's made for washing baby bottles, and it has a mini brush on the other end(for cleaning out the nipples).
I'd recommend that over the regular ones, because I end up using the mini brush far more often.
Homebrewers know what's up.
