I know how you feel. It's almost 11pm for me, I've already had dinner, and I'm not hungry at all. But I wanna cook a dessert badly. Tiramisu in particular.

Whatever I frickin want.

Just spent half an hour butterflying flank steak today and seasoning. Made the marinade which ingredient gathering, prep, and layering in a clay bowl took the better part of an hour.

Cut corners buying store bought tortillas (could've been more time by making them myself), but then have to make salsa roja, pico de gallo, grill the meat, get the garnishes, and figure out some kind of side dish.


All in all probably gonna be like 5 hours combined. Cooking is only part of the process. Excellent prep, and figuring out the best methods (let alone going through them) are the secrets.
