I think that aftertaste comes from the carbon dioxide in the water. Most flavored sparkling water beverages are loaded with sweeteners that cover it up. These drinks dont have those, so the taste of the co2 is more noticable. I find these drinks very refreshing. Pic related is my favorite flavor.

I bought a SodaStream Source. It works as expected and you can carbonate water to your liking. Sometimes I add lemon juice or cranberry juice to it.

It's a good product although the proprietary refills are lame, I'll probably end up buying the adapter that allows you to get the tank filled for a fraction of the cost.

The best part about supporting (((SodaStream))) is that it pisses of muslims.

I drink this because I'm trying to lose body fat. Regular soda is sugary as fuckkkkk and I don't wanna gain weight from it. If I'm having a meal at home and had a choice between Lux Croix and [insert name brand soda here], I normally choose la croix. Maybe because my taste buds have matured and barely have a taste for sweet drinks? Possibly.
