Today I've made a fillet steak with vegetables and shrooms, topped with caramelized onion in red wine reduction.
It was my first time doing it, and I definitely could do better (by not using cardboard wine, for example, which seems to be more water than wine).

Rather strange looking plating. I think the steak needs a bit more caramalization. Not sure what the balsamic reduction will do other than mask the flavor of steak.
