You saute things, seer things, pan fry things, make pan sauces, steam things, braise things, shallow fry things, etc., in a saute pan.

What the fuck is a vented pizza pan used for?

Pizzas, duh. Holes on the pan and shit, I guess 'vented' isn't the best term.

Sauteing is used in many recipes, so just one, eh, idk. I did use my pan today to saute some onions to make french onion soup. Used it a couple days ago to sear some stew meat and saute veggies for a stew I made. It's a really versatile pan.

Sweat some onions and some bell peppers, throw in some carrots or some shit, then once those are done add some rice, water, and some canned tomatoes for a simple base to go along with your protein of choice.

You dont really cook a whole meal in a saute pan. How deep is it? Whats the diameter? Couple things that are needed to know before advice can be given.
