lentils & peas have the most protein. you could make a simple lentil, pea and potato yellow curry and serve it on toast or naan and get a decent amount in your breakfast.

reheat it in the morning because good curry takes like an hour.

How did you used to cook them? I don't see how you could develop an allergy from eating that amount. I eat about the same 3-4 eggs every morning.

it's not a real allergy but an intolerance

Serious post here. The farmer I buy my duck eggs from told me a lot of people diagnosed with an allergy to chicken eggs can eat duck eggs fine, without problems. He said he has several that are regular customers. Ask your allergist about that.

it's also fairly benign and there's a good chance it will go away after a few years
