I have about a pound of cubed chuck, and a pound of ground beef in my freezer. I want to use it before I visit my parents for christmas for three weeks since when I get back it'll be a bit too old. What's something that can use both of these? Preferably something I can make in my slow cooker while I"m at work.
(I don't have a grinder, so I can't just grind up the chuck and add it to the ground beef)
Meat sauce I guess. Why not just cook them separately though?

I might if I have to, but frankly I'd rather avoid the hassle of cleaning up twice. I'm trying to finish up a bunch of stuff (as in work) before I go away
Chili. Serious eats' recipe calls for both cubes and ground beef I think, so it's not unheard of.

Goulash, stew, a couple pot pies, shepherds pies, chili, and beef kebabs out of the stew meat and maybe burgers out of the ground beef. you have alot of option really you could always experiment and come up with some new meatstravaganza.

Yeah maybe I'll just make meatballs in a pan, and at the same time (or right after) some stir-fry so I don't have to clean up twice. Or chili with chunks, I'm sure it'd be good even if it's not typical

Throw it all in your slow cooker before you go to work with some mozzarella, diced chillies, whole potatoes, seedless kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, cajun seasoning and 4 cardamom pods.
