Do you plan out your meals for the week? I do, and this is what I'm thinking for this week..

I was actually planning on having this for dinner this evening but I unexpectedly went out to a restaurant for lunch so I am keeping dinner light

I plan my meals for every time two weeks. Helps rotate food properly, Less waste in food and money.
I made beef stroganoff today, tomorrow is chicken tacos and Mexican rice, Tuesday night will be spaghetti with Italian sausage links, garlic bread and salad. Wednesday night will be breaded pork chops, oven roasted potatoes and green beans, Thursday is shrimp scampi pasta with asparagus, Friday is chicken tenders in yogurt, lemon and olive oil and spices marinade with roasted bell peppers and onions on couscous. Saturday Christmas Eve is chili.

The grocery store I go to makes their own dinner sausages, very thick and garlicky and not overly greasy. I will roast them in the oven, and eat them with some garlic mash and maybe fried onions. I'll also have some random mixed vegetables, the kind you get frozen in a bag. I will put ketchup on the sausages.

Saturday is Christmas Eve so it's a bit up in the air, I may order in or go out. Christmas Day I will be having turkey dinner at my dad's house, and I will have leftover turkey and ham to bring home with me because he always cooks a lot of that stuff at Christmastime. Next week I will be eating lots of turkey, ham, and dressing sandwiches (that's all three on the same sandwich, with mayonnaise) I am looking forward to it.
