I have a potluck for work soon.
What can I bring to please folks?

Dessert, main, or side dish?

Well, I've not seen the sign-up sheet yet, so I don't know what's needed.
But I'm open to any suggestions.
shepherds pie or maybe some sort of Irish stew
Those fucking weenies wrapped in bacon topped with brown sugar.
Here's some nonsense my grandma made once.
Oreo Balls:
mix a package of crushed oreos with a package of softened cream cheese
refrigerate until they're totally solid
roll them into small balls, if the balls are kinda mushy then consider refrigerating them again for a little bit
use a fork or a skewer to dip them in melted chocolate/white chocolate candy coating and put them on wax paper
if you want to go crazy sprinkle some nuts or sprinkles on top
then refrigerate them again until the coating re-solidifies.
done.
they're not fancy, theyre quick and easy, and they taste fucking great as long as you don't eat too many and get sick.
Cream Cheese Ball
2 8oz packages of softened cream cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic salt
4 chopped green onions (or an equal amount of chives)
1 jar of chopped up dried beef (wash the salt off first or it will kill everyone)
put it all in a bowl and then mix it up, then roll it into a ball and leave it in the fridge overnight
serve with crackers
Honey + BBQ sauce + Asparagus + Grill
Easy as fuck, and I've taken it to potlucks and people wouldnt shut up about it.
