How do I into spicy food?
I've eaten a lot of it in the past and I guess I could say I've developed a tolerance for really spicy food, but I don't really enjoy eating it.
How do I learn to love the pain?

You either do or you don't. At best it's a small party trick when you eat with others. "No way bro, that's why to hot how can you eat that."
Other than that there's little to no reason if you don't enjoy it. My mom caught me eating jalapenos out of a jar when I was 3 and ran to grab them because she didn't think I knew what I was doing. I told her hey I'm eating those, give them back.

Just keep eating spicy foods to increase your tolerance.
But why would you want to force yourself to do that though? If you don't like crazy hot food then why force yourself to like it? Seems pointless.

Craving spicy food seems to vary with the weather for me. If it's 95F and humid outside chances are I want something spicy. If there's two feet of snow and the temperature is dropping I have little desire for spicy food. Maybe you're like that too? You've obviously enjoyed spicy food in the past, but aren't into it right now? Is the weather cold where you are right now? That could be it.
Find a sauce you like and put it on everything.
I started getting into hotter stuff by ordering the hottest sauce at wing places.

Snack on peppers. I did this and in 2 weeks I went from thinking anchos were really spicy to eating a few jalapenos a day. It's not huge but the spice tolerance gains definitely came quickly. I stopped because my nose runs like crazy from spicy foods and it was getting annoying.

Wanting something spicy in hot weather and not spicy in cold weather sounds very backwards to me. If i'm already too warm the last thing I want is my fucking throat burning too.
