It's all high in sugar, OP. Fruit contains fructose. If you're going to eat it, at least get the fiber that comes along with eating the whole fruit.

You don't want to blend straight fruit unless you want to fuck the blender up, and all you'll do is end up with mashed up fruit.Water helps smooth the reduction and turn the pulp into a proper fluid rather then a chunky mess. All the benefits of fruit without reducing it to glorified sugar water via a juicer.
