ok, /ck/, I was waiting for a 41,200 dollar check and Wells Fargo sent me one from Wells Fargo to Wells Fargo so now I need to wait 4 more days while they write a new check and mail it and then 3 more days for it to clear... so now I'm playing "what can I make from the shit that has been sitting in my cabinet/freezer. Day 1...
Chicken and chicken bouillon with rice, half a pepper, half a lime, and some cilantro.
Day 2, save the broth/bouillon mixture and skim the scum off the top. mix with these noodles, more lime, the other half of the pepper, more of the cilantro, any remaining chicken, and hot sauce to make a poor man's pho. oh yeah, add spinach just to make more "food" so I can eat leftovers later.
Day 3...
rice, curry paste, red lentils. I'll add some butter to mellow out the curry paste since I've no coconut milk...
Day 4...
lemon tuna, spinach, remaining lime and cilantro on rice.
Day 5...
Ramen and a can of greens with bacon bits mixed in.
Getting into the back of the freezer.... some lake perch, can of mixed greens, and I've two old boxes of couscous I found.
Saved these 3 bags of mussels, shrimp, and crab for some reason... will eat them with whatever grain (rice or couscous) I have left over. I've a tub of margarine to make a dipping sauce with and some old bay in the cabinet for seasoning.
Now I'm at the end of the freezer... found two old 1 pound bags of venison left. Gonna use this pasta sauce and noodles to make venison spaghetti.
After this I've literally nothing left except tea, condiments, protein powder, and 10 dollars in quarters. I've been this poor before but I quit my job expecting my money much sooner than this so I could focus on building this business. It is hard to focus on my work when I'm not sure that in two weeks the whole process will be concluded and I'll have enough money in the bank to live for a year.... any suggestions on how to remix the ingredients above? I've every spice known to man. I do have baking materials though I've never baked before... I suppose I could make some loaves of bread and top them with margarine and garlic powder... bake them in the oven sliced to make garlic bread... what should I spend the 10 dollars on quarters on if it gets to that?
I've more chicken stock... Maybe buy a giant bag of mixed vegetables and some discount meaty bits and cook all the rice I have left in the chicken stock with the veggies and meaty bits? As much as I can get for 10 dollars?
>he doesn't go into hibernation mode
like you've ever been poor
literally lay down, don't do anything, drink a bit of water and you won't be hungry for at least two days
it saves a lot of money

I have been. I just refuse to go into hibernation mode. I gotta get this business of the ground. I've been poor enough before that I never want to be again and I lift a lot too. I wanna keep my body and mind in peak performance so I don't slip into depression and failure again...
