anyone got any family running a restaurant or food-related business?
how're they doin'?
My uncle had a simple German food restaurant. Nonsmoking laws killed his business. Good thing he was old enough to retire.
Ya. It's a fucking disaster.
i have thought about buying a mcdonalds, but they rejected my franchisee application
They might accept me if I apply with my dad, I am a bit too poor to own one right now.

why would you want one

To be fair there's guaranteed cash flow with owning a mcdonalds. How much royalty you have to pay to the HQ, i have no idea, or if it's worth it

I think there was someone on here or biz that owned two McDonald's and a subway. Only cleared $150k between himself and wife. That's a lot of bullshit for not a lot of dosh, senpai

My uncle owns an asian grocery store. He makes about $400k a year, at least that's what he told me. My buddy owns a hole in the wall togo sushi joint and makes $200k a year.

Not the person you're replying to but my family's restaurant pulled in 350k pre-tax and we mostly sold fried dumplings and fried rice.
Seeing as how Pho is so popular now opening a pho restaurant seems like a good idea. Only finding a good pho cook to make the soup is the hard part I would think. Just make sure not to make a video of yourself demanding to eat pho a certain way if you're a white man.
