My dad send me a belgian winter ale.
Since I'm not gonna get BARELY tipsy by myself in my shut-in existence, I was thinking I could maybe put it in some food. what would it go well in?
It describes itself as "is brewed in the style of belgian "cloister style"(perhaps it's called trappist beer in english? Idk). The beer has a nutty-brown color with a beautiful creamy foam
This christmas ale has a complex nose(?), with notes of plums and raisins which ae rounded off with a sweet malty staste, were you fint hints of chocolate and nuts."
Quite poorly written marketing speak but eh, I guess it could be useful for suggestions.

A beef stew is the most obvious choice.
I use a lot of beers and wines in stews and casseroles . .. . ignore what people say, - DON'T use decent drinkable beers, use cheap stuff.
A Belgian trappist beer is for drinking.

But I'm a social drinker with no social life.
It's one beer. Just drink it for the taste you fucking autist.

Well make a steak and Ale pie or stew, I'm just saying that it's not cost effective to cook with decent stuff.

Or buy another 15 and have a good night of it. Drinking by yourself is more fun anyways, you should give it a try.
