How does /ck/ like their homemade potato chips?
Also, how thin do you cut your potatoes when you fry em?
>>8268556
Super thin cut on the mandolin, skin still on. I'll toss them in a bit of sea salt and malt vinegar right when they're still hot.
Oniichan.
I want poteito or else I'm gonna flip a tit
I use a mandolin. Slice right before tossing them into the oil. Just don't overload the pot or the chips will turn out soggy.

I have an airfryer. Is it possible to make homemade potato chips with one of those? If so, those chips wouldn't be too fattening, would they? There's no oil, it's just potatoes and air.

>Too fattening
Fat doesn't make you fat, dumbo. Also airfryer is a meme so there you go

Those strings are sharper than you think.
No seriously, if you ever restring a stringed instrument, do it carefully
>>8269293
But it's very calorie dense. The more fat in your food, the less you can eat.

>airfryer is a meme
care to explain? I'm interested in buying one.
>>8270056
i was thinking of getting one until i learned they suck at battered foods
>what the fuck is the point
so i bought a $45 deep fryer instead
>>8270082
but what if i'm interested in just frying shit without the use of a pan, and don't care about battered food?

>rejects airfryer meme. Succumbs to deep fryer meme
