would taste better with some tomato paste and grated zucchini. And fresh chilis instead of dried.

yeah probably. I'm a poor student tho, and it's hard to get fresh produce here that isn't crazy overpriced. I live in north canada
I ate a lot of bean patties this summer because of being frugal.
1. one egg, dash of flour, beat with a fork
2. half can of black beans, and chick peas, mash with an old empty beer bottle
3. quarter of an onion, minced, sometimes some mushroom too
4. season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, cilantro, lime juice, all just eyeballed.
5. loosely form and drop into the pan w/ oil, they start pretty liquid but set up as it cooks
6. drizzle sriracha+mayo or a homemade chipotle sauce
served alongside some sweet potato hash, sans bun because I'm too jewish to shell out. Shit was cash

Rather than pickles, try some jarred roasted peppers next time

There's no burger in that "burger".
Just call it a sandwich and stop kidding yourself.

I'll keep that in mind, friend-o! I just had pickles, and I love pickles, so it was logical to me
