is an 8'' inch frying pan useless?
so i'm in college and have limited room. i have a good all-clad 3-Quart Saute Pan and was looking for one more pan of high quality and wanted to do most of the cooking between the two pants. wanted to try Mauviel and they have an 8inch pan for sale, but is an 8inch pan useless?
Would prefer the 10inch pan but it's not on sale and cost a bit more retail anyways, to where it's 3x the 8inch sale price

Get a cheapo nonstick since you already have a saute

wait so if i have a saute pan, a expensive frying pan would be kind of useless?

No, Your saute pan is a 10.5" pan so an 8" pan sounds like a good idea. I really only keep 12" and 8" pans as a 10" doesn't work well for big items and is too big for small items. Also, I'm a single guy so I rarely cook for more than two people.
