It's ok. Tanqueray No 10 is the shit though.

Tanqueray is pretty good for what you pay. Personally my go to nowadays is brokers.

Solid enough choice anon. Gin is a great thing to get into because the mid range has a cheap cost:quality ratio.
My favorite cheap mixing gins are Beefeaters and Boodles. One is milder and the other is really pungent. So while mixing cocktails I can reduce or increase the gin flavor of a drink by controlling both the quantity, and which gin I use in the first place.
The milder Boodles is good for gin-and-tonics and other very simple drinks, while Beefeaters will shine through stronger flavors and really balance them out. It's good with Bloody Maries as a vodka substitute.
As for sipping, Hendrick's and Uncle Val's all the way. They're so soft, complex, floral, herbal. They're delicious and using them in cocktails is a waste.

Junipero Gin is very good, not as strong a pine needle taste as Tanqueray

It's good, but it tastes basically like Beefeater's which where I live is $8 cheaper.
