>tfw she's easing us into Francis' eventual death
>implying the japanese haven't perfected accelerated cloning and neural synchronization for dying poodles in order to maintain a stable system of poodle hosted instructional recipe videos

Francis has died multiple times, we're probably on the sixth iteration of Francis right now.
good
dogs smell like shit and having one in the kitchen must be gross

>dogs smell like shit and having one in the kitchen must be gross
What's it like being subhuman?
>Francis will die in our lifetime
>John from Food Wishes will die someday
To be fair I get a good laugh
>>8165066
>John eventually grows old, and develops Parkinson's disease
>"give it the ollllll' shake-a shake-a"
>>8165149
You stop that.
>>8165149
>>8165149
why do we exist?
>>8165149
Fuck that caught me off guard.
>>8165149
Hey.
HEY! FUCK OFF
I'm more worried about the Chef. I thought she croaked when she had that accident that took her offline for a while
Chef's fine. Nothing a little bit of peanut butter and Francis can't fix.

Eat shit, Ahmed.
next dish will be fried poodle

I only very rarely even watch Cooking with Dog, but I'm gonna tear up when I see the thread on /ck/ one day. Damn man.
>>8171238
I love that dog more than most people I know, It's gonna be rough.
>>8165149
Honestly its more likely that John will be replaced by someone better long before he comes close to dying. Look at Alton Brown. He was /ck/'s god for the longest time and theres still a lot of fuck heads that stringently believe in the unitasker rule well after the run of the show
>>8164320
>yfw you realize that Francis is just a regular dog and won't be around with us forever
>>8171352
Unitasker rule? Newfag here
>>8171359
Alton says not to buy kitchen tools that only serve one purpose, such as a pineapple cover. Exceptions being a rice cooker, melon ball scoop, and emulsion blender.
>>8165066
>Jack will outlive Francis
Truly proof of a godless uncaring universe
>>8171392
Mankind needs to intervene
>>8171359
>>8171369
The idea behind it is sound. You shouldn't buy single use items that you will rarely use because most of them aren't actually useful, they take up space, a lot of them are hard to clean, etc. But its a stupid thing to be hard and fast about when it comes to items that you actually use regularly. Theres nothing wrong with owning a toaster, a rice cooker, etc
NO FUCK OFF
HE'S FINE
FUCK YOU
>>8165149
le sad yosho
>>8165149
>tfw you realize Chef John is 50+ years old
>>8171359
It's basically the rule that says don't buy dumb gadgets you will never use.
However, if you DO use them and they don't take up too much space, they're fine.
