Okay guys, so tonight I plan on making a hot dog pie for my mother, has anyone on here ever made a hot dog pit? If so how did you do so and what did you use, I need a oven time that won't burn the crust I was thinking 350 on medium heat for an hour.

What techniques or strategies do you use to perfect the perfect hot dog be it for a pie or just for a midday snack? I hate a rubbery dog so I try to use Kosher hot dogs I usually pickle them over night so they crunch when bitten releasing delicious juices from working. Anyways let me know here's my hot dog pie from last time. First time so be easy on me.

is there a 350 on high or low heat
>>
>>8161526
Low.

Finally, the Munchy Box makes it to America.
>>

What's the difference in temperature between 350 on low heat and 350 on medium heat?
>>
>>8161541
Heat is released at a faster pace.
>>

not a Munchy box anon, it's my hot dog pie from a few weeks ago my very first one. It looks similar to a munch box so I can understand your confusion.
>>
>>8161545
But it's still 350F?
>>
>>8161679
Yeah.
>>
>>8161523
how is that a pie?
thats a baking dish piled full of different corn chips with sliced hotdogs wrapped in bacon, more scattered bacon, and what looks like battered and fried macaroni.
that is not a pie, thats not even a casserole.. thats a trough full of garbage for a pig.

I don't understand how it's low or medium heat if they are both 350F. If low is 350F and medium is 350F what is the difference?
>>
>>8161711
I'm sorry.

You, can't see the base dough for bottom of my hot dog pie. That'/ just the top I used dough sizzled in bacon grease to make a pie shell. I do not understand why you think a pig would be able to make this, they don't have hands nor are they very smart, I am curious..?

Why do you think pigs would be able to make this? Please respond, I need to know. Thank's.
