All soft serve comes out of machines. Soft serve is soft because it isn't given time to set; the machine constantly churns it.

Soft serve can be very good, but frosties are pretty mediocre.

I've had a lot of good soft serve, but it's always from little specialty places. Oddly enough the specialty has never been soft serve.

I only eat fast food a couple times a year, and Wendy's is one of the few places I go, but you're supposed to go drunk and order off the dollar menu... Paying for the expensive shit (which is literally just a couple of the value menu items stuck together for 4 times the price without the good parts) is retarded tier.

Wendy's here in the US are a bit better than what you described. They are pretty mid-tier around where I live, equal to or better than Five Guys (and cheaper). My only complaint is that they usually short me on condiments on my burgers so it ends up being kinda dry when the patties are overdone. But when I get a good one with enough condiments and the patty is juicy, it's a delicious burger.

The fries are also very good, and frostys are just plain soft serve ice cream that can hit the spot but it's nothing special.
