Do French restaurants even exist? I don't think I've ever seen an actual French restaurant once in my whole life.

Well, a majority of places serve dishes that have roots in French cooking, even if it's changed so much to be unrecognizable.
If you mean restaurants that only serve classical French cuisine then those are kinda rare, because it's mostly things that nearly every chef in the world learned in school as a foundation. Not many chefs wanna open a place where they just copy paste from their old textbooks.

Lamar Boulevard, Arlington, Texas. Cacharel.

It's more French than the Bordeaux.
>>
The French do not have any sort of culinary culture.
>>
Literally any "fine dining" restaurant will be French by default.

Have you tried getting out of your basement?

Because there was never any wave of poor french immigrants to open restaurants targeting street plebs. There are many authentic french restaurants in urban centers across the world but they're high-end. Try having money/ not living in fly-over.

They're by far the most common type of restaurant.
>>
Most restaurants above the level of the atrocious American "family restaurant", unless they specifically specialise in some other cuisine will be French inspired at least.
>>
In France they use a lot more sauces than in America and it's gross, I don't want my horse meat smothered in cream shhit.
>>
There are, especially in ritzier neighborhoods. Got a few in New York. But the best French cooking comes from the countryside in France and not restaurants. It's cheaper too because despite it all being called one of the finest food cultures it's mainly peasant food and can be made fairly cheaply if you have some good recipes.

Do you live under a rock?
