when i was growing up my favorite little snack was what i called cheese plate.
i'd take a plate exactly like pic related, and i'd put slices of cheese on it, and then i'd microwave until it was bubbly and maybe a little crisp in some places. then i would eat the melted cheese with a fork or spoon.
