I drink spicy V8 all the time, nearly every day. It's delicious.
I also always bring V8 or other tomato/vegetable juice along with me when I travel by car, or order it when I fly.
I do agree that it's not as popular as it once was, but I think that's changing as our tastes are changing back to wanting less sugary foods and drinks. I've noticed that there's several new varieties of tomato juices out there, where as there just used to be V8, Clamato, and Campbell's tomato juice.

He drank tomato juice to trick his body into thinking it was receiving it's daily dose.
