Definitely tastes better. Although it's not much better than the throwback. I still buy it because I don't need a 12 pack of any soda in my house. Once in awhile it tastes good and that stuff is the best cola available in single serve at most gas stations.

well I'll agree there is a subtle difference between throwback and regular formula with corn syrup, but my tastes are not refined enough to tell the difference between throwback and 1893

It just had a larger flavor profile imo. I know I sound like a neckbeard but whatever. I've always liked Pepsi more for the sole reason that coca cola is too acidic to really taste a lot from it. The Mexican version is better, but if I'm buying mexican shit it's going to be jarritos.

At least 1893 doesn't taste like literal shit like normal Pepsi. It's almost on par with Mexican Coca-Cola, in my opinion. The ginger version is pretty fucking tasty though. Almost thought it'd be as strong as ginger beer, but it's really a nice blend of cola and ginger flavor.

I've tried it, it tasted slightly bitter. I didn't like the Ginger Cola though, the ginger was a bit too much for me.

I do think really mind it much, but yeah some ginger beers are rocket fuel. Kinda hate it that I can't find something that kicks more than any of the shitty supermarket ginger ales, but doesn't stick a dish scrubber down my throat.
