I stopped being the university's bitch after two years and bought a toaster oven. It's way stronger than I expected.
Anyway, what should I make with it?

I like using it to put a crisp on food, keep things warm, make pretty good cheese and cured meat melts, potato skins are great that way too

>black and decker
You should have gotten a Cuisinart 6 slice. 4 slice ovens are too small to make good food. I lived on my own and the 6 slice can cook me a homemade butter chicken in 3 quarters of the time it takes in a regular oven.
>Anyway, what should I make with it?
Anything small that would be overkill in a full-sized oven and soggy in a microwave.
I like making toasted sandwiches in mine.
Remember to flip.

does this seem reasonable in a college dorm?

I make pizza dough, lay some oil on a thick pan and make some pan pizza in the toaster oven. Its really good and a lot of food considering the space and energy investment, pizza chains will hate you for this.
Does it have a broiler setting? If not you got fucked.

It does.
I have a 6 slice Breville and I can make the best spatchcock chicken you've ever tasted in it. Last one I substituted piri-piri spice and sauce using that recipe. Best bird I've ever made.

I bought this last year. I use it several times a week.
Here's everything I can ever remember doing:
>toast toast
>toast bagels, English muffins, etc.
>toast hamburger buns
>bake pizza rolls and bagel bites
>roast sausage links
>roast hot dog weiner (it gets all blistery like the movie theater)
>baked potato
>TGIF buffalo wings and potato skins
>Totino's party pizza
>tater tots
>baked an egg in a ramekin to reproduce that egg mcmuffin egg at McDonald's
>reheat pizza and fried chicken takeout
>ham & cheese sandwiches
>reheat bacon (broiler works best to get crispy bacon)
>frozen chicken tendies
>finished a steak in it once
>frozen chicken pot pie
>Dorito's Loaded (didn't like these at all)
That's all I can think of at the moment.
