yes, and not just on frozen pizzas, but everything. And I'm not just talking about the shit tier american processed cheese. There was a time when soy and oiled based products dyed were passed off as cheese.

The 100% real cheese thing was also a marketing tool used by the dairy industry in the US- particularly in CA and WI

In the mid 90's the CA lottery even had a very successful commercial with a guy in front of a cheese display at a grocery store saying something like "I can finally afford all this cheese"
