What's your technique for cooking this garbage?

>boil noodles in recommended amount of water
>once just about done cooking, drain 3/4ths of the water into the sink
>add flavor pack, either along with ground cayenne pepper or melt in bits of pepper jack cheese if not one of the picante flavor packs
>mix
>>
Ausfag who uses Migoreng.

>Boil noodle cake in pot and crack egg(s) into it
>Egg gets poached perfectly in the 2-3 mins it takes to cook
>Drain all water
>Add in 3 sauce and 2 dry sachets
>Have noodles and poached egg(s)

If I'm eating that I'm probably too lazy or whatever to bother actually cooking.
>>

I drain 90% of the water not for taste, but so it cools down and I can shove it down my throat faster. If I wanted soup I'd chop celery and carrots and put them in the water before heating it up, topping it off with parsley and a little bit of pepper.
>>
>>8000675
>add water to pot
>add frozen prawns, muscles and scallops
>bring to the boil and add noodles
>boil for 30 seconds
>turn off heat and let sit for a few minutes
>strain the mixture and rinse under hot water
>add diced shallots, spring onion, dried bacon bits, and the seasoning sachets that come with it

Ayy Ausbro here.

Yeah our "Ramen" is Migoreng here. Got a massive popularity spike for some reason or another in recent years.

My way
>Boil noodles not through a pot, rather place it into a bowl of hot water covered by something
>Wait for approx 3-5 mins so it's soft enough yet has some crunch to it
>Drain all water
>Add the two packets of dry + sauce sachets
>Add extra soy sauce and a tad more sriracha
>Add extra fried shallots

I love crunchy noodles, and migoreng works fantastic with em'.
>>
>>8000723
>sriracha
>not tabasco
>>
>>8000675
>boil noodles in normal amount of water for a couple minutes with flavor pack and additional teaspoon of bouillon
>add a cornstarch slurry (I like it thick so I use like 2 tbsp cornstarch + 4 tbsp water)
>once it thickens, take off heat and slowly pour in a beaten egg while stirring
>add 1 cup of cool water
>stir in a few drops of sesame oil and some soy sauce

I legitimately like eating packaged ramen this way, it's a decent tasting meal.
>>
>>8000675

lazy faggot:
>boil up suggested amount of water
>put ramen + seasoning + oil, depending on brand into bowl
>add frozen peas, sliced spring onion, broccoli, mushrooms
>add soy sauce, sriracha, mushroom sauce to taste
>fry super thin slices of tofu
>pour boiling water
>let it sit for 3 minutes with lid on
>put crispy tofu slices on top
>eat

>Put 1 tblsp of butter in bowl
>Add garlic powder, pepper, tiny bit of chicken powder packet.

Poverty Tier:

boil water, throw in noodles, turn off heat let them cook about ~2ish minutes til juuuust al dente

i fucking hate soggy noodles

Normal Tier:

same procedure, but poach or boil an egg, add scallions or kimchi, some seasme oil and a hot sauce of choice

(lately thats been Sa Ta chili paste)

Lil Bit Extra Tier:

same noodle procedure as the others, add fresh veggies, cleaned and chopped. Add Either kamaboko or narutomaki or crab sticks. sub out a little bit of tahini for the sesame oil.

Why do people insist eggs in a soup is good I've tried this many times and it just isn't good
>>
>>8001189
>stop liking things i don't like
>>
>>8001189
It really only works in a really rich broth style soup, or something like shabu-shabu after all the fillings have been eaten. Adding egg to a broth/soup at the end of a meal is something that was traditionally done by poor families to make a meal go further.
>>
Soak dry shiitake mushrooms, slice some green onions.

Mix some leftover kombu dashi (or pork broth if I have any), water from soaking dried shiitake, soy sauce, and half a packet of whatever it comes with. Braise some meat of my choosing typically pork and the mushrooms using said liquid.

Boil noodles in water, boil egg in shell with noodles.

Put noodles in bowl, shell/slice egg and place in bowl, slice shiitake and put in bowl, slice meat put in bowl. Green onions too.

Add enough braising liquid to the water used to boil noodles in order to make a broth that isn't crazy salty. Pour in bowl.
>>
never had theme, think I "seen" them once.
>>
>>8000675
>Boil water, toss noodles in for 3 minutes
>Strain the water
>Serve with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese
>Throw out spare flavor packet I never use

Why do people eve bother with ramen? For only 7 minutes more you can make a pot of pasta thats 10x ore filling and isn't full of sugar and MSG.
If you're too lazy to make a sauce and don't want to buy a can just drizzle some olive oil on the pasta and add herbs and black pepper.
>>
>>8000675

>He drains the water

Back when I was even more of a fatass I would put in ramen:

three eggs
four sausages or four bacon strips (whatever I had)
some onion
some garlic
pepper
hot sauce
a little butter
balsamic vinegar
soy sauce

It's soup. You can pretty much do whatever with it.

>>8002390

Sometimes you just want that salty shit, man.
>>
>>8000675
>put whole noodle brick in large bowl
>sprinkle about 2/3 of packet on it, maybe a squirt or two of hot sauce
>nuke 2 cups of water for 4 min
>pour into bowl, cover with plate
>forget about it for a while
>consume when noodles are nice and plump
>>
first, get the pork flavor

second, just look at the photo on the packaging, and copy. add some sliced meat, an egg and some vegetables.

wa la.

>use half the amount of water
>stir frequently
>cook times as directed
>meanwhile, fry up some onions, green peppers, cashews, meat etc. in oil with cayenne, anise, ginger, fennel, garlic, whatever
>ramen absorbs all the moisture
>add ramen seasoning packet to noodles
>put ramen in bowl
>put fried shit on ramen
>eat
>>
>drain 3/4ths of the water into the sink
say what now
people actually eat it like this? I thought ramen was supposed to be brothy
>>
>>8000675

>Boil noodles in recommended amount of water
>Drain noodles but keep a little water in there.
>Add flavour pack
>This is where it gets interesting.
>Water remaining acts as a carrier for the condiments
>Sriracha, bit of ranch, cheeze whiz.
>Bake it in the oven to absorb remaining liquids.
>Serve with garlic bread or just bread if you're on a budget.

Bravo!

I've found my ramen chef/
>>
>>8003302

I really like your fork.
>>
>>8003358
Pretty common apparently. The broth was always my favourite part but I remember being 13 at my friends house and being surprised when he drained the broth out. The broth with all the fucking flavour in it.
My auntie also does it for my autismal cousin. Actually my friend was a sperg too so maybe its an autist thing.

>>
Wait, I've always keep the water in the noodles. Why do you guys drain it?
>>
>>8003358
>I thought ramen was supposed to be brothy

Well yeah, It's a soup. What sort of retards would drain?
>>
Instant ramen is overrated.

Because of the high sodium content you can't eat more than a packet. But one packet isn't enough to satiate you. The broth is often too salty. Noodles alone are boring but if you are going to add something you might as well just cook proper food. Also low nutrition.
>>
So I bought some stuff that was apparently a repackaged version of a ramen I really didn't like. Anyway I'm not going to use the seasoning but what can I do with the noodles since I don't want to waste them
>>
>>8000675

also >>8000764
theyre both shit hot sauces
>>

>>
>>8003439
im a legit sperg and this sounds nuts, please don't blame autism for their poor life choices
>>
>>8003521
I sometimes like to eat 'dry' ramen (not ramen anymore but whatever), but I don't drain it. I cook it in a small amount of water, separating the noodles til they're done enough, then I add the flavor packet and whatever other add-ons. There should still be a little bit of water left to make it saucy.
>>
>>8003614
Chow mein? Or maybe add them to stirfry, I've done that before.
>>
>>8003641
Actually stir fry's a pretty good idea
>>
boil, seasoning packets, drain all water, eat
>>
>>8003697

Disgusting. You realize you're only seasoning the water, dumping out the seasoned water, and then eating essentially plain noodles, right?
>>
>boil water
>throw ramen
>wait til almost done, add flavor pack and crack an egg in it and whatever else i want in it
>put noodles in bowl, cheese on top(love this shit) and pour the soup on top of it to melt it
>>
>>8003358
i do it because i don't care, and will end up with all that water being tossed after anyway
>>
>>8003956
>not drinking broth

holy shit
holy fkcing shit
>>
>>8000723
Same hr, that stuff is 2 bucks for a five pack at my IGA, i cant normally afford the hot water bill so i nornally just soak it in water 20 minutes before eating, then drink the noodle water and then add the sachets and stuff.
> tfw when being alive is suffering
>>
>boil until 3/4 done
>add cayenne, diced chilies, diced shiitakes
>finish while frying an egg
>place finished product in bowl, top with egg and green onion
