Pooridge is supposed to be bland. Add plain yogurt.
Discover spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.
Deez nuts. Almonds, walnuts, etc.

Honey and maple syrup work well (especially when combined with a banana) but may be a bit too high GI.
