Have you noticed any Sriracha brands having higher quality than the others, or is it all the same shit?

Other whats? Hot sauce is a very rich market. Every semi-famous nigger rapper has their own hot sauce. That variety isn't unique.

If you say so senpai

that shit is especially bad. i bought it once at the only grocery store in my neighborhood - it's one of those places where there's a mix of people who use crystals for deodorant and wealthy yoga pants housewives whose self esteem is based on how much money they are able to spend on stuff, which is why that store sells $8 mayonnaise and $6 water.
pic related is good. i like it better than the standard huy fong.
that sky valley shit can go fuck a wood chipper. it's gross.
This might qualify, less preservatives and has fish flavor. A bit spicier as well.
But really it's just blended peppers + sugar, OP. Not much to make it more complicated than that.

Interesting, didn't know that Tabasco made one. What's it taste like? By the way, Frank's sriracha is the worst excuse for shit I've ever tried.
Pic related is the best one I've found. Fucking mexican gatorade bottle, but damn they did right.
I only can find this stuff in oriental food markets, but it's the best sriracha i've found so far. Less garlicy and sweet, not too hot. It's got a nice tangy heat to it; well balanced. It's also very cheap compared to the hipster and brand names. I pay $1.25 a bottle and tend to buy like 6 at a time. Excellent on stir fry.

This is pretty much my favorite too, perfect saltines.

i think the tabasco one has a smoother taste from using much less garlic. it goes better with a lot more foods - huy fong's problem is that using so much garlic just makes everything it touches taste like their hot sauce.
the only place i've seen the tabasco one for sale is at costco, a 2 pack for $6 or $7.

I have not been able to confirm it; but I have read it few times online that Huy changed from using straight serrano peppers to jalapenos. I think tabasco did a pretty good job regardless. It reminds more of what I remember about sriracha from when I was a kid. Huy had to change their recipe or something. maybe my palate changed. idk
What kind was the kind papa johns uses? I had never had sriracha before I had the sriracha pizza at PJ, and I loved it.
Then I went and got a bottle of the stuff at walmart, and it was pretty bad. Way hotter than the kind on the pizza and not nearly as sweet.

That actually is very interesting. I kind of assumed they used straight thai chilis or something, didn't know they actively fucked with the formula.
Say what you want about Tabasco (personally, I think it's a good substitute for vinegar over using as a hot sauce), but they literally have only used tabasco peppers steeped in used bourbon barrels, and never changed.

Well according to wiki they did change from seranos to jalapenos. I have noticed over the years that it has lost some of its heat and garlic flavor and become more acrid/sweet.
