MSG-based seasoning sauce, legumes like peas or chickpeas, and some veggies. (Beans are shit, since chickpeas exist)

i know how to cook the rice, the instructions are on the packet
i dont know what to put on it
the bag says it's short grain rice if that gives you any ideas
other than the rice ive pretty much only got sauces in my kitchen
>>7917129
Try all of the sauces.
Also butter and salt.
Ooo, make some fucking orange sauce and put it in there.
Shoyu and furikake is what I use when just eating plain rice. You can also mix in some butter when it's done cooking, but that's kind of a haole move.

a small bowl of rice with just soy sauce on it is surprisingly good

Id suggest this but do I do it a bit differently. Toast your peanuts and put them on the side. Heat some oil, put some sliced onions in there and throw some tumeric powder in it, add salt, then dump the rice in and turn the stove off. Add your peanuts and squeeze a lemon or two while mixing them all together.
It tastes quite decent and doesnt cost a lot, something fast and quick. If you have 10kg of rice then try it once.
>>7919175
This.
If you know how to properly make rice just adding soy sauce is like 8/10.
>>7919323
>indian
>>7919323
^ same, i fry a lot of sliced onions with a lot oil mix the rice in, add water, add some salt and then let the water dry, pretty simple
>>7919331
Try it out anon, it wont kill you unless youre allergic to peanuts. The only other things in the dish are rice, oil, salt & tumeric.
>>7919348
I add some salt to the rice while its cooking so it becomes a bit more dry. It works better imo if the rice is a bit more dry. If you use a bit too much oil it will come out oil and if the rice is sticky it will not be that good. Have to adjust the salt+lemon a bit.

You need a special rice grain though
>>7921500
That's not a german typical dessert tho.
>>7921580
It is.
>>7921550
You don't excactly need special rice, though it will be better with short grain rice.
>>7917092
Flip here, when you cook rice add a small cup of vinegar.
Put ketchup on it

No, that dessert origin can't be proven.
I know what I'm saying. In my country it dates back to the XI century when the sugar was introduced to Europe but wasn't very used.

Eat with some lentils or beans, a baked banana and something hot like chili. I discovered that in an African Restaurant here in Germany. Tastes fantastic
Just mix it with tuna and mayo

little butter, some salt, there ya go.
Make sure you're rinsing it too, it helps the flavor a lot to not eat half starch half rice husks.

I do that with avocado and ketchup&tabasco with the mayo.
>>7917092

Toast the rice with a little oil first, then use chicken broth instead of water. You can add some garlic during toasting if you like.
The obvious answer is fried rice. Stir in an egg while frying, add in diced vegetables and meat as desired.
You could also get a whole chicken, cover it with garlic powder and a bit of salt, then after baking make a gravy from the drippings. That gravy with rice (preferably jasmine but most will do) is one of my very favorite dishes.
Rice especially tastes great with teriyaki sauce.
>>7921394
This works. Also *MAKE SURE* you use enough salt. Not too much, not too little.
You can fry boiled rice with some ground spices. That can add plenty of flavor. I like mine really spicy.
>>7917092
things to put on cooked rice:
soy sauce
vegetable oil
butter
any herbs
and of course your favorite sauce, whatever it is
