Is this chicken okay?
I got it out at 11pm to defrost over night, and put it back in at 6am.
It's winter over here, so room temperature was pretty low.

My mom is one of those white, middle-class women that buys all those advertised home-cleaning products. Despite drinking the kool-aid on that, she thought thawing chicken on the counter was perfectly acceptable. In the morning before work, she'd put a tray of chicken breasts on the counter, and it would stay there until she came back that evening. This was a year-round thing. I never got food poisoning from it to my knowledge.
On a slightly related note, I had allergies, common cold, etc. on a semi-regular basis. I thought it was normal, because people at work and school seem to get it all the time. I bet half of the time it's just playing hooky, but anyways...
I moved out 13 years ago, and my allergies went away, and I've had food poisoning once (BBQ ribs at a shitty takeout place), and diarrhea for about a week (never figured that one out). Those are the only times I've been sick in 13 years going strong. Not even a head cold or cough. I keep stuff wiped down, but I don't use all those damn sprays and detergents. And when it comes to food I've cooked, I've never given myself food poisoning and I do things like buy steak that's going to expire the next day, has lost all it's red food dye color, leave it on the counter for an hour to come up to room temp, and serve it medium-rare. Never been sick.
The pussification of America is real. Do your part and shame people who are self-professed "germaphobes".

Yes it looks fine, however as

I've cooked an eaten chicken which has even acquired a slight yogurty smell from sitting out too long. Doesn't taste good but I didn't get sick from it. Generally the whiff test is good enough to tell.

Yes. But the label on OP's chook suggests that he's from New Zealand. Thought you should know.
