I packed one of these with me every day for lunch during my capstone field course. Ate it after chomping through a cucumber and an apple and a few triscuits. Finishing off the meal with a hit of concentrated salt and animal protein made it feel very satisfying and kept me going until it was time to go back to camp for real food.

Felt and tasted like dehydrated fecal matter, with some cement to make it hard and some artificial meat aroma, that was so bad that even the 10c ramen company would not buy that aroma.

Luckily, I never have to eat those.
My family makes their own snack sticks from venison and wild turkey they bag during hunting season. They're fucking delicious, and aren't greasy as fuck like Slim Jims. So, I can always grab a vacuum sealed bag from my parents freezer when I visit.
