I like food trucks; but only when I'm traveling by foot and happen upon one randomly. Or if a "permanent" food truck happens to have a good menu, I'll hit them up if I'm in the area.

I'm inclined to believe that those people waiting in line aren't just in to dank memes, but might actually enjoy the food.

Why? Surely there's actual annoying or bad things on the streets around Melbourne such that fucking food trucks of all things are a non-issue. Why care?

In ON, Canada the food trucks have festivals but you can get fed for 10-12 bucks and it's better than fast food garbage

I've seen two food trucks on campus, never bought from either.

Maybe they're good, I don't know, but the prices were fucking stupid. $7.99 for a fucking burger and fries. And no A/C or place to sit.

Just a general comment for those who like or are street venders: the "food" would be a lot more attrative if you actually turned the vehicle off so that it wasn't belching exhaust a mere seven, eight feet from where you sell the "food."

If people will pay it, it only makes sense to take advantage of it.

So many consumers don't realize that THEY set the prices, not the vendor. If nobody pays over $5 for food truck food, then they don't sell shit for over $5.
