I have some boneless pork loin steak and I wanna cook it. I haven't done this before but I was thinking I will first defrost it in a microwave, then I will put 2 steaks on a plate, add soy sauce and sweet chili sauce and then put the steaks there for like 5 minutes (I think this is marinading?) Then add some seasoning: salt, peper and maybe cinnamon; then put it in the over for like 30 minutes and then if there is no pink meat or something, eat it.
How do I make the plan better? The instructions don't say that I can oven it. Will I get sick or something? What can I do that is not grilling it
Or should I go for this one? apparently people say that fry pan is better than oven

I just realised that perhaps I should've cut them thinner . Oh
> i will first defrost it in a microwave,
stopped reading there
Defrosting in a microwave is not a great idea, you often cook whatever it is you're trying to defrost. Just leave it outside to thaw.
Also marinating something for 5 minutes won't have much of an effect.
you put so much effort into this shitty b8 thread and nobody gives a fuck
must feel bad

Just leaving it outside then? I was hungry

I gave up on marinating and just dredged it. Good to know that it needs more time though, my housemate suggested 5 minutes and I was like ok cool
