Pork spare ribs, salt and pepper rub @ 220 for 5 hours. Used oak and pecan.

Sprayed with orange/apple juice at the 2 hour mark and flipped.

Wrapped in foil at the 4 hour mark, glazed with honey butter and put back in for an hour

Rub also had a bit of paprika in it for color, but they smoked well enough that it didn't matter. At the 5 hour mark.

What would you use for a rub? I am a big keep it simple person, but wouldnt be opposed to smoking a rack to try it out. Mind you, these ribs had no sauce but the honey butter, so the flavor is heavy on the meat and smoke.
