Post something local. How local is for you to decide.
It can be something you love or something you hate.
Here's something I love.
Something I detest
>>7668159
And something I've never tried
Something I hate - chevapi.
Low quality burned meat with so bread and cut onions.
>>7668186
Something disgusting - pita.
Diced potato in some phyllo dough. Can also be diced minced meat, cheese or spinach.
something local I fucking love
>>7668189
Something I despise - pura.
Cornmeal with cheese. I'm not a big fan of local food but that's all I ever eat.
>>7668198
that sounds disgusting.
>>7668224
It's often eaten with sliced up cooked pork fat which makes it a bit heavy and some add garlic too.
I wouldn't call it disgusting or even an acquired flavour, it's ok. But maybe I've grown used to it. And the cheese added is what we call young cheese, it's very fresh usually.
2 Detroit Coney Island Ho Dogs with everything
damn, imitated everywhere, but never duplicated
>>7668192
that's a huge crab. How's it taste?
>>7668198
sheeeeyit
that sounds like something we have in the southern US, cheese grits. In fact, it sounds like the EXACT same thing
>love
gumbo
I'm from farmlands, the only things we've ever produced around here are pigs, cows and apples and things you make from them.
Maybe you've heard of our cheese.
Something I love from Baltimore, Maryland
>>7668189
this doesn't look or sound that disgusting
unless it's the phyllo dough that's bad
Wouldn't be Minnesota without tater tot hotdish. I usually make a white sauce and add mushrooms instead of using cream of mushroom soup. But if someone makes it with the soup I will still eat it.
>>7668314
What part of Glos? I'm Cheltenham way
>>7668316
FUUUUUUCK Berger cookies are the shit!
>>7668314
is it pronounced "glaw cester" "gloo cest" or just "glester" like leicester?
>love
red beans and rice
>>7668317
It's ok as is, simple quick food. Really filling and can be tasty if you're hungry.
But what surrounds it is disgusting. People bragging all around who makes it best, whose mother makes it best, some places trying to make it fancy, always someone bragging about it. Talking about it as it was some god given gift to us. I don't know, I've eaten it one or two times a week whole my life (as I'm sure every else I know did) and I don't get what makes it special.
>>7668330
Well Churchdown to be precise, always say Chelt to make meself sound posher
>>7668330
Damn, thanks.
>boudin, love
usually pronounced "boo dan"
>>7668297
Glorious.
I much prefer the garlic roasted dungeness to the plain steamed. It just has more flavor, and the garlic compliments the sweetness of the crab meat. Dungeness is my most favorite crab, because it's both meaty and flavorful, and pretty easy to crack.
This is Labskaus, the only good thing about this, is the fried egg.
>>7668343
my parents always tried to convince me to eat those. but i never liked boudin. neither blanc nor noir.
this was voted as the official food of my city.
... it is delicious mind you, but my god does it make your body feel like shit.
the sauce on it is :
evaporated milk, sugar and garlic powder.
>>7668746
>the only good thing about this is the fried egg
but steak tartare is better with a raw egg yolk...
Also fuck you, pickles and pickled beetroots are delicious.
>>7668189
dat stuff is pretty dank tho senpai
>>7668321
Nice
>>7668750
Looks like my cum
Fried lamprey.
The GOAT beer snack.
>>7668759
This isn't steak tartar. Labskaus mostly contains potatoes and cooked meat.
The egg is pretty much obligatory while pickles and beetroot are just side dishes wich is why i didn't feel the need to mention them.
City Chicken is fucking delish. It's also fun to feed to Foreigners, especially muslims who don't know it's actually pork
Love this stuff.
>>7668798
looks delicious
>It's also fun to feed to Foreigners, especially muslims who don't know it's actually pork
but that's a somewhat asshole-ish thing to do
>>7668805
fucking fuck that looks so good
Better than In n Out, and cheaper too
