Hello /ck/,
im about to make some burgers. ill make sure to take a lot of pictures and post them here to explain my cooking and shit. lets hope this works out.
pic related, what my burger should look like hwne its done, minus the bacon and the pickles.

You certainly are a culinary ninja, anon!
i used 500 grams of mixed ground meat (pig and cow) and made two meatpieces out of it. both should have approximately 250 grams, and have been seasoned with salt and pepper only.
>>7654123
Why not 100% cow?
be sure to press onto the meat once in a while to avoid excessive fluid buildup.
dont flip it until its done on one side.
>>7654137
>press onto the meat once in a while
That's counterproductive. It harms the texture of the burger and also makes it less juicy. Bad anon. Bad.
>>7654135
Not him but I've found that pork adds flavour & fat, which helps bind it all together. I am quite partial to a mixed pork/beef burger.
>>7654137
>be sure to press onto the meat
enjoy you are ruined burgers
>>7654141
>lass juicy
have you ever made burgers with mixed ground meat? the fluid buildup is massive, trust me, they wont go dry. just not as sloppy.
>>7654123
are those fucking LIDL buns, nigga :-DDD
>>7654177
no they are from Penny
>>7654072
>minus the pickles
faggot
Alright, next step was putting the buns flat on a toaster with the cheese on top of it (i used the "Burgercheese" sold at my supermarket) until its all crispy.
>>7654182
u austrian?
>>7654182
where ya from, the mixed minced meat give me eastern euro vibes, i dont like 100% beef too
>>7654186
that looks nasty.
I always cook my burgers in a George Foreman, it squeezes a lot of fat and juice out, so I end up with a healthier patty.
there are some absolute requirements for burgers to be met
>never stack two or more salad leaves without sauce
>tomato and onion must touch
>never forget to put sauce or topping between bun and patty
>>7654197
>cook my burgers in a George Foreman
>it squeezes a lot of fat and juice out, so I end up with a healthier patty.
>>7654201
then hello neighbour
>>7654197
you disgust me
>>7654201
>this guy is NOT me!
Well then hurry the fuck up.
>>7654203
>>7654213
Yea, I know I know, I just don't want to consume 20-30g of fat from a single hamburger patty.
If I'm lucky, I can reduce the fat by 1/3rd or more
>>7654223
>eating supermarket patties
you continue to disgust me
>>7654223
>I just don't want to consume 20-30g of fat from a single hamburger patty.
Maybe you could, I don't know, make your own patties and thus control the amount of fat you add, and then you could avoid completely ruining it when you cook it?
>>7654229
They taste great and are convenient. I've made homemade burgers before, and eaten expenisve ones in restaurants, not really much better.
>>7654244
its not about tasting better imo, its about spending more money for something made way crappier than you could ever do it yourself
>>7654240
It still tastes really good, and they don't make me sick like regular burgers which repeat on me.
alright here we go.
the burger was flipper (only once) and done on the other side. remember to sometimes roll the side of the burger on the pan, so they get brownish too.
>>7654247
It doesn't end up costing me hardly any more money
dont forget to pour the fat and gravy over the meat once its done. its crucial.
>>7654250
>the burger was flipper
You monster!
>>7654257
and here we go. add sugar to the hot pan....
>>7654250
how do people manage to make such a disgusting mess all around them by simply cooking a single fucking burger?
>>7654266
and grill the buns on the side which is touching the lettuce or sauce/maet combination.
>>7654257
did you use any kind of oil for frying it?
>>7654267
fat splashes
i made brgers as well last night :)
add sauce, meat, onions, salad, sauce, tomatos and close it off with a bun. its done, thank god.
will report back when i ate it.
>>7654267
im trash. look at my fucking kitchen, dude.
>>7654271
yes, a little bit, not too much though.
>>7654277
nice, though im not a friend of those small in diameter but high stacked burgers.
how do you like mine?
i ate the first one, it was fuckign glorious. i love this shit. my sauce is that bullseye chipotle bbq stuff.
>>7654312
looks good, i'd eat that
bbq sauce is the best sauce for burgers t b h
Under seasoned patty
Didn't specify dat fat content of meats
>>7654137
>>7654257
Fucking moron.
>>7654279
>sauce on the bottom
>tomato wedges instead of slices
And you didn't even make your own sauce from scratch.
How was the meat cooked? You have to cut the patty in half so that we can make sure it's still pink.
Good attempt, but that is a mediocre burger anon. Needs fried onions bacon or cheese also imo, the combined flavor of meat, tomatoes and bbq sauce isn't enough for most people and you won't ever find a burger with just these toppings at a restaurant.
>>7654072
>minus the bacon and the pickles.
Just order a pizza
>>7654351
what the fuck are you talking about
>>7654399
Which part are you confused by? I can explain it more thoroughly for you
>>7654419
how dare you say such things about my fucking basic burger? its amazing, and i dont need to cut through the fucking meat.
>>7654434
I didn't see the onions in that picture so I take back what I said about not enough toppings as long as they were cut right
>>7654351
Lmao what a cuck
>>7654454
You honestly think thats an above average burger? If so, then I feel sorry for you. I'm just giving him some constructive criticism
