Any way to make kidneys not taste like piss? I've tried

Soak them over a few hours, changing the water a couple times during. It's how my grandma does it

Most organ meats are shitty. The only good ones I've tried are pork spleens, beef liver, rooster testicles, chicken hearts, and intestinal casings.

You just need to soak them for a long time. Put them in a container with at least 3 parts water to 1 part kidney and soak in the fridge for 3 days, changing the water every 12 hours. I don't know if there's any benefit in soaking in milk as I've only ever used water, which works fine.

My big issue with kidneys is their texture as they're a bit rubbery. Also the actual flavor is disappointing, it's basically like liver except without any of that nice livery flavor that makes liver good, just that shitty organ flavor that makes it bad.

Just boil the piss out of them.
