Dogma, Mall Rats, Jersey Girl all have some really good themes and gags in them, Clerks was fun and a good chill movie, but it's by no means good.

If you want a "Good" Kevin Smith movie, watch Red State. Fantastic movie. He wrote and directed it, and it's a hell of a departure from his normal stuff.

I love Kevin Smith, but only because he's so naive and lucky. But I would never sit and watch one of these movies in the way it wants to be watched. I'll laugh at this, but not with it.
