Let's talk about water.
What's your go to brand?
For me it's Evian.
Bottled water is silly unless you're traveling or something. It's retarded expensive. Just drink tap water. If your tap water tastes bad a $20 filter will fix it. If you want it in bottles just get a reusable water bottle to take with you.

Not if you live in a place with hard water and they use water softener
>live in dorm
>take shower
>never feel clean
>install water filter
>still tastes and smells like shit
>leaves a white residue on everything it touches
>washing dishes will never completely wash them
>cooking with it was a little better, but you needed to boil it first and it collected on the bottom of the pot in the same way salt would when desalinating water.
I lived off cases of generic bottled water from the supermarket. If I'm out I just get poland spring or something cheap.
If I have to buy bottled water, I prefer SmartWater. Tastes the least like plastic.

>>install water filter
>>still tastes and smells like shit
It's that's true you either bought a non-functional shit filter, or you installed it wrong.
I always had a huge bottle of evian by my bed and in my fridge during my student days.
It is the beautiful elixir of life that refreshes at any time during and after many nights of binge drinking.

just go to where the water softener is located and fill it up with water from the tap at the intake
FREE WATER
Poland Spring.
>>7410319
I have a water filter.
I buy whatever is cheapest by the case when I go to the grocery store to take a few to work with me every day.
>>7410321
Not at all. Some places don't have access to decent water. For example I was in Pennsylvania and the water there is treated swamp water. It smells fucking gross. I can't imagine drinking it.
>>7410319
Just two
Lemon dasani. Shit's my jam. Then smart water because I like the cap and mouth piece.
That's when Im out traveling. At home I have a filter pitcher in the fridge.
>>7411212
OK, so get a water filter instead of paying for bottled over and over and over again.
>>7411226
I don't live in Pennsylvania and I'm not going to fucking carry a water filter around with me and attach it on and off every faucet I use.
>>7410321
Not all of us have access to clean tap water, anon.
>>7410319
Tap.
>>7411313
Let's talk about filters. I've been looking into getting an under the sink unit like this one (WQA Gold Seal certified):

Thoughts? I'm just worried about losing my hot water stream in my kitchen faucet.
>>7411251
There are these amazing futuristic water bottles that have filters BUILT IN.
It blows my mind these miracles science has created.
>>7410319
Acqua Panna is the shit but I feel bad about buying it because it's owned by Nestle
>>7411335
They have simple straws that do it as well.
>>7410319
I can't believe tap water isn't good to drink as is in US, I thought it was supposed to be the greatest country in the world.
Not to mention something both as mundane and essential as drinking water shouldn't be a storebought commodity in a sense bottled water is.
>>7411977
It is.
People are just fucking babies.
>>7411335
I have one of them and it makes a loud noise whenever I drink from it and it spills everywhere. Don't get the Brita kind.
>>7411990
I don't know man, I live in France and bro the smell of tap water is horrible, it smells like limestone and has a metallic aftertaste.. Still, I drink it but I'm pretty sure it's not good for my body.
>>7410319
I have a filter at home, but if I have to, I buy pic related.
>>7411977
The US is really fucking good at regulating water standards if the city isn't run by moneygrabbing shitheads. Standards for tap are higher than bottled water.
>>7411212
>treated swamp water.
If you litterally mean from a swamp as in a forested wetland, that's a good thing and means your water source is damn good. It's likely something else causing the shit.
>>7412087
This.
Flint, MI is a huge fucking anomaly.
My local water is delicious and I have no reservations drinking it straight.
>>7411977
its the all the chlorine they dump in to the water
>>7411977
It's a big country anon. It's safe to drink in the sense that you're not going to get parasites/disease from it, but in many places there's small amounts of things that you don't want to drink large volumes of day in day out
>>7411102
Mah nigga, Poland springs master race
>>7410319
Why Evian is so expensive?
>>7414035
I didn't like this one that much. It tasted too salty to me.
I fill both of these every few days with tap water and sit them in my bedroom to drink throughout the day, normally takes me about 3 days to go through both. I live in Queensland, Australia. I just keep them in my room, the water gets warm as but I don't care, if I put them in the fridge they get too cold to drink.
I have Sulfur in my well. Took awhile to get used to the rotten egg smell and taste, but now I fucking love it despite the weird looks from the wife. If you're ever constipated, a liter of sulfur water will make you shit like a goose.
I do buy clean water of course, but it's generic, or I pick some up at a friends by the waterjug. If I'm feeling fancy I get pic related
Also saw this in the story. Holy fuck water went hipster
>>7415859
Yes? It's fine isn't it
>>7415854
? thats probably the least hipster thing ive ever seen, it seems like thatd mostly be for like dumb white women/teen girls who else gives a shit - the same type of people who fell for the kombucha and cold pressed juice bullshit
I honestly can't believe people buy bottled water in first world countries. If the tap tastes bad, get a $7 brita filter that lasts 2-3 months. Buying bottled water has to be one of the dumbest things people do. But I guess people do lots of other illogical consuming because businesses convince them to.
