I'm using:

I feel like this would be better with a differing kind of pasta. How are you meant to eat spaghetti with all that shit over it? With fussilli for example, you could just stab straight through it. There also needs to be nicer cheese and half the amount.

OP back, just put it on simmer now with a lid on and low heat, it includes

>tinned tomatoes
>beef stock

>small amount of cinnamon
>pepper

Anything else I should've added? I was thinking of going down to the supermarket to buy a bay leaf but is it worth it? Also how often do I have to stir it since it's in a pot, I was thinking 30min-60min.

but I'm trying to add as little fat as I can because the cashews are very heavy on fat.
the entire recipe boiled down to about 300 calories for a cup of the chili - so not bad! I could have stood to add a little fattier selection of meat but I'm good with how it turned out.

OP back, taste great. Shouldn't have added the water though because it is a bit too watery, the pickled jalapeno juice and beef stock was probably enough.
