Are juices a lie? Almost all these are 90% apple or grape juice. Is it just because some fruits aren't juicy enough to be profitable? Too strong?
Apple juice is used in a lot of juice blends because it's cheap and fairly neutral in flavor so they can use it instead of water and still get away with saying that it's "100%" juice.

cranberries are quoted from Ocean Spray as "unpalatable" without mixing juices or adding sugar

Bought a "strawberry drink" tasted like air freshener and 90% of the ingredients was apple juice.

well most juices aren't very tasty without extra sugar and bullshit.
usually I just drink water and beer, water cause its good for you, and beer at night for the vitamines and relaxation.
Juice cocktails (Ocean Spray, Northland, Langers, Juicy Juice, etc.) are unashamed juice blends with added sugar. The real stuff is advertised as "just cranberry", and you really can't drink the stuff by itself. I've bought some (usually 6-10 bucks for a 32 oz. glass) and mixed it with lemonade or added it to homebrewed ginger beer. By itself it tastes like a liquified sour warhead.
