Favorite TV chefs or shows? I have a soft spot for most of the people on public television, especially Cook's Country/America's Test Kitchen. Lidia Bastianich is also fun to watch, and there's always Jacques Pepin or Julia Child to watch as well.

Coming at you with some British choices:

Mary Berry
Paul Hollywood
The Hairy Bikers (yes, they're called that)
Delia Smith
Nigella Lawson

Shows:
The Great British Bake Off

Saw an episode of this since we get it brought over on ABC I think it was. I really enjoy this, and everything the judges say feels like constructive criticism rather than just hammering on the mistakes a person made which is really nice.

The UK version is great. I saw the US version which only lasted one season, and although it had one of our judges (Paul Hollywood), it just didn't; really work :/

I used to love River Cottage and Jamie at Home.

Take time, to make yourself feel good

His programme on pies and pasties was pretty good.

So were the baker brothers.

This.

And although Gordon is a cunting sell out, his recipes and cooking shows are actually decent. He is concise. No bullshit.

Tom Kerridge is number one.. Forever.
In every way.

Rachel Ray should burn in eternal hellfire.
She is the dumbest cunt to ever think that her shit is real food worthy of airtime.

This woman is worse. She thinks her food is amazing and is always smug when presenting her show. Despite her having "students" who want to learn how to cook in her show she always ends up butting in and going "No, you're doing it wrong, my way is better" and ends up cooking nearly everything herself anyway while the students are stuck just twiddling their thumbs or cutting up onions for the rest of the show. It's infuriating to watch her.

This guy. Good food, the science behind it, and a bit of comedy. Always entertaining and educational. Plus he shares my sentiment of less=more.

My girlfriend and I often put Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on for food porn, even though both of us fucking hate Guy Fieri. I live in the New England area, so Phantom Gourmet is nice for weekends, to see some restaurants I could actually go to. I also get clips from them on my facebook feed, which is great.

As a kid, Yan Can Cook and Frugal Gourmet were always on TV when we were waiting for Sesame Street or whatever to come on. I really enjoyed it.

For some reason, last summer, my friends and I took to getting drunk and watching nearly every episode of Two Fat Ladies over the course of a weekend. I know British cooking has a reputation for being awful, but goddamn. Some of the things they cooked clearly didn't even turn out as they had intended. This was a show that was more about two dysfunctional, obese British women than it was their mediocre cooking skills.

My man, we used to watch him with our grandfather every week, he's such a friendly guy and funny too and you got to see some amazing food made.

Fun drinking game, take a sip every time he goes "and then"

>Jacques Pepin
Every Wednesday at 7:30 I watch Essential Pepin. Occasionally on friday if I remember that it's on.

Also his other two shows, Wok With Yan and Martin Yans Chinatowns.
