Why don't more people eat ricotta cheese? It actually tastes

I eat ricottage cheese

Ricotta is great but too rich. I can only eat a spoonful or two before it starts to feel disgusting. A small bowl of cottage cheese is good though, especially with a bit of fruit on the side.

This. The first few bites are fantastic, but after that it feels like eating whipped butter or something. I use it a lot, but eating it straight just doesn't appeal to me.

Cottage cheese is way lighter, and great with fruit.

Weird, it's the exact opposite for me. To me it tastes light and the flavor is subtle. So I eat that stuff on toast and bagels often.

I use large curd cottage cheese on top of my chili with hot sauce. it's awesome and you can substitute both cheese and sour cream (if that's your thing)

it's made with rennet or an acid like vinegar, and whey. it's fresh cheese.

Are the mafia selling fake ricotta like they are with olive oil?
