Recently was introduced to Kipper (specifically pic related), and I fucking love it! What are some other fish-in-a-tin worth trying?

anything from king oscar
I especially love the Moroccan style spicy sardines pic related, GOAT tier sardines
>>
I personally like sardines and smoked salmon. Not a fish but I also enjoy smoked oysters and clams.

I find the flavor of anchovies are way to strong to eat alone from the tin.

Watch out for Swedish stuff like surstromming. It's a shart in a can.

Pick at random from the isle, go home and palate test

Tinned sprats. Not as strongly 'fishy' as many other options, but still delicious, healthy, and cheap.
>>

my personal faves
1. mackerel in tomato sauce
2. kippers
3. brisling sardines in olive oil

Not tinned (jarred tho, so I think it still counts) but get your ass some pickled herring and some rye crispbreads and eat like a fucking king.
>>

I like kippered herring, too. I was gifted some Crown Prince brand (honestly not sure if that's considered low-, mid-, or whatever-tier brand) and was pleasantly surprised. I liked it best on crackers, but, the nice smokiness made it flavorful enough to eat on its own.

Sauries are great if you can find them. I find them at a Korean market but they're from Japan. They're good on saltines or on some ramen noodles.

This, i started with kippers and oysters and now i've been trying fucking everything. I got some like canned spiced octopus tentacle and holy shit they are good.

Polar kippers are good, but don't ever get their sardines. They're very bad quality.

Don't get these either.
