I don't think there's really anything controversial about your pricing, given a dollar here or there depending on where you live.

Best burger I've even had was $16. No stick required, because after being perfectly grilled it was wrapped in dough and deep fried.

That's not a burger, it's a meat doughtnut

Is is awesome, and worth every penny.

Look at the meat. It's grilled med rare. The dough is thin and the fryer hot, so by the time the dough is cooked and the cheese melted the burger itself is only just kept warm, because the dough shields it from the hot oil.
I would have written it off as a fucking gimmick, but after it was rated one of the best burgers in NYC several years in a row I had to give it a shot. Turns out it totally works, which was a pleasant surprise. Because most of the time someone tries to put their own spin on a simple, classic dish they end up fucking it up.

But it's not a burger

It is clearly a burger - it's a char grilled patty of very well sourced ground beef - but the bun is made of fried dough instead of baked. So it's a novelty burger, just a very good one.

I bet you think open faced sandwiches exist too

Tartines? Love 'em. Odd to see them becoming a little trendy at the moment, though.
